It's been only a week since Hans Peter Minderhoud decided to go independent and left the training of the NRPS licensed dapple grey stallion Rubels in the hands of stallion station owners Gert Jan and Anne van Olst
, or Van Olst traded a dapple grey licensed stallion in exchange
Junior STV (by Uniform x Variant) will now be ridden, trained and competed by Hans Peter Minderhoud, who justed started his own business in Leur, The Netherlands. Junior STV rose to stardam under Anky van Grunsven as a young stallion. The pair won the Pavo Cup Dutch Young Horse Championships two years in a row and then quickly moved up to Grand Prix level. Unfortunately, Van Grunsven's time schedule did not allow Junior STV to be thoroughly trained and competed.
Only half a year ago it was decided by did Van Grunsven and the owners of Junior STV to put the stallion in training with Anne van Olst, who had just lost her number one Grand Prix mount. Van Olst never appeared on the international scene with the KWPN stallion and has now given control over the reins to her student Hans Peter Minderhoud. Minderhoud is aiming at competing Junior STV at Grand Prix level.
