The Dutch FEI pony rider Philina Swanborn dominated the international pony dressage show in Soskut, Hungary. Aboard the 17-year old licensed Welsh Pony stallion Anjershof Rocky she produced a hattrick winning all three classes at the show.
"This is so cool. It was my first international show and I won three times. The first places are really nice but I'm even happier with my scores," Swanborn commented. "I had much fun. Everything was well organised and the people were very friendly."
Swanborn's pony Anjershof Rocky is owned by Ben Harms from Foxwolde, The Netherlands, who gave the pony stallion to Philina's disposal. "I'm so grateful for the opportunity Mr Harms has offered me. As long as Rocky is with me, he doesn't have to breed," Philina added.
Philina's excellent scores in Soskut made her forgot that her new boots were about to ruin her entire CDI-P experience. "I broke the zipper of the left boot at home right before we left. We got it fixed but in Hungary the right zipper broke. I went to the head of the jury and asked what to do. He laughed and gave me some black tape for my boots," Philina joked.
