Isabell Werth's one-year doping suspension by the German Equestrian Federation ended yesterday on 23 June 2010. The German FN immediately announced that Werth can come back on the German team.
Werth was suspended by the FEI from all competitions for six months. The German Equestrian Federation (FN) banned her additionally for one year by removing her from the A-team. Werth returned to the show ring in December 2009 but was never elected as German team member for a CDIO competition due to her FN-suspension. This has ended now and she's expected to be a fixed member on the German team at the 2010 CDIO Aachen on 14 - 20 July 2010. Isabell is also aiming to represent Germany at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in September.
"Looking at her performances this season, nothing stands in her way from coming back to the A-team," said FN secretary general Sönke Lauterbach.
