World Magic Passed Away

The Hanoverian licensed stallion World Magic has been humanely put down on Friday 5 August 2011 after a long stay in the equine clinic. Since September 2010 the stallion was suffering from a fissure in the fetlock which caused inflammation of the hoof.

Bred by Werner Muehlhahn and born in 1994, World Magic was by by Warkant x Cavalier x Lugano II. He finished 32nd in the 1999 Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf with a score of 96,25 points. His dressage index was 121,77 but he got an extrememy low 67,42 for his show jumping abilities.

In 2002 and 2003 World Magic was competed at S level by Ulla Salzgeber, who qualified with him for the Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals. Then Uta Gräf followed as a rider and showed him, for instance, at the 2005 CDI Wiesbaden. Finally he was ridden by Verena Heinz. At the end of his life the stallion was owned by the Luxembourg company LUX dressage.

Renowned offspring by World Magic includes Australian Kate Taylor-Wheat's World Star. Werbespot and Wellness were top selling get at the 2011 Westfalian Elite Spring Auction.
