The 5-year old Hanoverian stallion Fabregas (by Florencio x De Niro x Lanthan) has been sold to Ted and Elaine Parkinson of Parkwood Stables in Rockwood, Ontario, Canada. He will arrive in Canada by the end of 2011.

Fabregas is born in 2006 and was licensed with the Hanoverian society in 2008. He completed his 70-day Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf, Germany in 2009. He scored 134,27 for dressage, which placed him second in that ranking, but overall he finished seventh with a score of 118,19 points. He got 94,21 points for show jumping (18th place).

Fabregas stood at stud at Ingo Pape's station in Hemmoor but will now continue his breeding career in Canada.

"We are excited to be importing him from Germany before the end of the year," said Parkinson. "Our plan is to offer his breeding services in North America and to continue with his competition career here in Canada and the U.S."
