Finnish Grand Prix rider Terhi Stegars has withdrawn from competing on the Finnish team at the 2013 European Dressage Championships in Herning, Denmark, which are set to start next week on 20 - 25 August 2013.

Stegars was supposed to compete her own licensed stallion Axis, a 14-year old Trakehner by Sixtus x Angard, but the Luxembourg based rider had to cancel her entry. Eurodressage contacted Stegars but she was not willing to comment at this stage.

Krefeld based Henri Ruoste was the appointed alternate and will be replacing Stegars. Ruoste is riding the 10-year old Hungarian warmblood Jojo AZ (by Ginus x Justboy x Zavarus).

The other Finnish team riders are Emma Kanerva, Mikaela Lindh, and Stella Hagelstam. Emile Faurie is the team trainer.
