After a period of injury, the 8-year old Oldenburg licensed breeding stallion Floriscount is back under saddle and has been put in training with German FEI rider Oliver Oelrich.

Floriscount (by Florencio x Donnerhall x Walldorf) is bred and owned by Count Clemens August von Merveldt, who runs a breeding yard called Gut Fuchtel in Vechta, Germany.

In August 2012 the liver chestnut stallion moved to Hof Beckerode, where Christoph Koschel was put in charge of the horse's training to FEI level. An injury, however, sidelined the horse for months.

Last October von Merveldt asked Oliver Oelrich to continue the horse's dressage career to Grand Prix level. Oliver, who is especially renowned as a trainer of German junior and young riders, also coaches Clemens' daughter Patricia von Merveldt.
