The Danish stallion licensing committee selected only one stallion out of five presentation at the pre-selection in Norway for the 2014 Danish warmblood stallion licensing. The Norwegian pre-selection took place at Askim Hestesports on Monday 6 January 2014.
Five stallions in total were entered for the pre-selection. Four of them were show jumping bred and only one dressage bred, Ann Cathrin Ottosson's 3-year old bay colt ACDC (by Akribori x Walt Disney I x Trapper).
Only one made the cut, the 4-year old show jumper Solbakkens Dragonheart (by Heartbeat x Carolus I x Calvados I), owned by Tobajo Sporthorses and Elle Hesteutstyr. He is bred by Nina Paulsen.
A total of 29 dressage colts have now been picked for the 2014 Danish Warmblood stallion licensing set to take place on 5 - 9 March 2014.
