Six stallions completed the 2014 Danish Warmblood winter 35-Day Stallion Performance Testing in Torring, Denmark, on Monday 10 February 2014, and four passed the exam by scoring more than the required minimum of 800 points.
This winter 35-day performance testing was open to stallions which were unable to particpate in the autumn testing for medical or different reasons. Four dressage stallions particapted in this testing and two of them scored high enough to obtain the licensed status with the Danish warmblood society.
The high scorer was the 2013 Danish Warmblood licensing champion Zee Me Blue (by Zack). The dark bay colt is bred at Ringsbo stud farm and owned by Blue Hors Stud. He scored 838.5 points in total and also achieved a very decent jumping score (733.5 points). Zee Me Blue stood out with his rideability.
The premium stallion Atterupgaards Seebach (by Sandro Hit) scored 819 points and was the second dressage colt to pass the exams.
Two stallions were unable to successfully pass the testing. They are the Dutch warmblood colt Fennovanck PP (by Uphill) owned by Helgstrand dressage and Fredernsdals Fountain (by Furstenball). Both colts completed the 35-days but did not score over 800 points to obtain the licensed status. They struggled with the walk.
The two other stallions that excelled in the testing were show jumpers Bøgegårdens Chacco-Lido (by Chacco Blue) and Quin (by Verdi).
