Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven has made her medium tour show debut aboard her sponsor Antonia Ax:son Johnson's newest acquisition, Benetton Dream, in Florida in February 2014.
Benetton Dream flew to Florida with the rest of Tinne's top performance horses for training and competition, but returned early to perform in the Swedish Stallion Performance Testing in Flyinge.
"I'm excited about him," Tinne said at the beginning of her Florida trip. "He is so rideable and fun to work with. And what a temperament!"
The pair made its show debut in the national Intermediaire B test during the 2014 CDIO Wellington mid February. They scored a whopping 77.976% despite producing a very green Grand Prix test in which the horse was often croup high. Still the Brentano II x Davignon stallion showed off great rideability and potential.
In an interview with Ken Braddick, Tinne said about Benetton Dream: "I’m extremely happy with him. It’s something very special for him to go out and do this in a big open space. He was super correct, very, very rideable in the test. Some things are still difficult for him because he’s still a baby, but that’s fine with me. He’s very rideable and I never knew before how he would perform in the show ring. I now feel comfortable about things. In some ways, he has changed in the past couple of months. He is on my aids. He’s used to me now. It takes time, it should take time, and he is being allowed the time.”
During Benetton Dream's flight back from Florida to Sweden he got ill and missed the performance testing. The Swedish inspection committee assessed the stallion at his home Lovsta Stuteri instead and approved him for Swedish breeding.
