The bay colt Jefferson became the top selling foal at the 2014 SELL Foal Auction for Dutch warmblood foals. The Negro x Flemmingh x Tolbert sold for 18,000 euro sold to the French trio Gabrielle & Andrea d’Avack and Mariette Almasy.
The second most expensive foal was the colt Jupiter (by Charmeur x Rousseau x Metall) which sold for 15,000 euro.
Bue Hors stud acquired the colt Joan Miro (by Zack x Welt Hit II x Amor) for 12,500 euro.
The filly Jasmijn (by De Niro x Furst Heinrich x Sandro Hit) achieved a knock down price of 11,500 euro, while colt Jonker (by Zack x Jazz x Nabuur) sold for 11,000 euro. The amount of 11,000 euro was also paid for Jan Greve's Jenoraline W (by Franklin x Rock Forever x Amiral).
The average price for a foal at the 2014 SELL Foal Auction was 6,220 euro.
