Short and Long Listed Canadian Dressage Riders for 2015 Announced

Dressage Canada, the dressage branch of the Canadian equestrian federation, announced the 2015 Dressage Short and Long Lists. The horse/rider combinations were selected based on criteria that considered 2014 competition results. 

The short lists contain the Grand Prix combinations, divided in A, B and C-teams, whereas the long list includes Canada's top small tour pairs. 

The newly released short lists strangely do not incorporated the fact that Tom Dvorak's top horse Viva's Salieri W has passed away. Dvorak is still B-listed with this horse.

Short List A
(two scores of 68% or better)

  • David Marcus - Chrevi’s Capital and Don Kontes
  • Jacqueline Brooks- D Niro
  • Karen Pavicic - Don Daiquiri
  • Belinda Trussell - Anton
  • Megan Lane -  Caravella
  • Ashley Holzer  - Tiva Nana

Short List B
(two scores of 66% or better)

  • Jill Irving - Degas and Pop Art
  • Tom Dvorak - Viva’s Salleri W
  • Diane Creech - Devon L

Short List C
(two scores of 64% or better)

  • Evi Strasser - Renaissance Tyme
  • Gary Vander Ploeg - Degas
  • Brittany Fraser - Countess

Long List B

(Intermediate 1 level two scores of 66% or better)

  • Shannon Dueck - Cantaris
  • Brittany Fraser - All In
  • Evi Strasser - Rigaudon Tyme
  • Maya Markowski - Lumiere
  • Belinda Trussell - Tattoo
  • Chris Von Martels - Zilverstar
