Seventeen dressage bred colts have begun the 2015 KWPN Spring Stallion Performance Testing in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on 17 March 2015. The 70-day testing is a mandatory phase for stallions to receive the KWPN licensed status.
The day in Ermelo started with the presentation of 15 3-year old colts. They were presented under saddle by their own rider and the KWPN licensing committee assessed their rideability. Afterwards they were vet checked and found healthy.
Two dressage stallions, who were not licensed in February, were presented for testing. After an assessment under saddle, in hand on hard surfance and by the veterinarian they were accepted to participate in the testing.
