The 5-year old Zikade and the 6-year old Don Röschen won the small Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show in Böblingen, Germany on Sunday 10 May 2015. Eleven 6-year olds and nine 5-year olds were assessed at this dressage event.
In the 5-year old division Dorothee Schneider and Norbert Timm's Trakehner mare Zikade (by Singolo x Tambour) topped the leader board with an 8.3 total score, receiving 9 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 8 for canter and 8.5 for submission and general impression. Nicole Casper and the Oldenburg stallion Zalando (by Zack x Sunny Boy) were second with 8.2. They got 8 for walk and trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Zalando tied in second place with Dorothee Schneider on Evelyn Haim-Swarovski's Rhinelander stallion Zirkon (by Zack x Sunny Boy). He got 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk, canter, submission and 8.5 for general impression.
Casper aced the 6-year old division on her own Baden Wurttemberger bred mare Don Röschen (by Don Diamond x Landioso). With a total of 8.4 she led the field. Her chestnut mare scored 8.5 for walk and trot, 8 for canter and 8.5 for submission and general impression. Katrin Burger, who recently moved from the Oldenburg area back to the south of Germany, finished second on her boss Lothar Merkt's Oldenburg stallion Danzarino (by Diamond Hit x Laurentio) with 8.2. The horse got 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 9 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
