The 5-year old Dantano and the 6-year old Fasine were the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional dressage show at Hof Bettenrode on 10 - 11 July 2015. A huge group of contestants were entered to compete at Hof Bettenrode for a coveted ticket for the Bundeschampionate finals in Warendorf in September.
Sixteen 5-year olds contested the L-level dressage horse class and Kathrin Sudhölter topped the leader board on the Hanoverian licensed stallion Dantano (by Diamond Hit x Brentano II) with an 8.4 total score. The dark bay stallion got 8 for trot and canter, 9.5 for walk, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Norwegian Isabel Bache landed second place on Paul Schockemohle's Dutch bred stallion Barroso (by Bordeaux x Saros xx) with 8.3. The bay stallion got 9.5 for trot, 8 for walk, 7.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
Nine 6-year olds rode the M-level dressage horse test and Isabel Bache steered Paul Schockemohle's Oldenburg mare Fasine (by Furst Romancier x Sir Donnerhall) to victory with a whopping 8.8 score. The dark bay mare, who is the full sister to licensed stallion For Romance, got 9.5 for trot, 8.5 for walk, 9 for canter, 8 for submission and 9 for general impression. Bache also landed second place on Marlyse Schatzmann's Oldenburg mare Funfstern (by Dimaggio x Karon) with 8.5. The chestnut mare got 8.5 across the board for walk, trot, canter, submission and general impression.
