The German equestrian federation has announced the German youth team candidates which will have to prove form at the first observation event for team selection held during the 2016 CDI Wiesbaden on 13 - 16 May 2016.
This year German team selection is slightly different from other years, because of the early date of whitsunday, when the annual CDI Wiesbaden takes place. Normally the Preis der Besten is the first team observation event, followed by Wiesbaden as the first team selection event. This year it is the other way round. Wiesbaden will be an observation event and the Preis der Besten will count as first team selection trial.
The team trainers and selectors of the German Equestrian Federation have released the names of the riders who are considered team candiates and have to present themselves at the CDI Wiesbaden for assessment. They are:
