German Grand Prix rider Lisa Muller has acquired the 6-year old Dutch warmblood bred and Oldenburg licensed Falcon. The black was gelded over the summer and will continue his dressage career in Germany.
Falcon is by Apache out of Donna van de Kempenhoeve (by Donnerhall x Akzent II) and was previously owned by the Swedish Sophia Skobe-Rosen of Stal Sathalla, who had acquired the stallion in Holland from Femke de Laat. Rick Helmink broke the news about the sale of Falcon to Germany.
Under Dutch-Italian Chiara Prijs Vitale, Falcon competed at the 2016 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, The Netherlands, where they finished 44th in the preliminary test.
"We got him in January and he is at my barrn," Müller told Eurodressage. "Last weekend we competed in a test for 6-year old horses and we got first place. He is amazing."
Originally from Straßlach-Dingharting (GER), Muller is serious about her dressage career. She took the world number one, Isabell Werth, as her coach. One week per month, Müller spends in Rheinberg getting trained by Isabell.
When asked what is the most valuable lesson she has got from Werth so far, Lisa replied, "there is not just one thing. She is the greatest trainer I ever had. She knows for every horse different ways to make them feel great and do their best."
Aside from a string of FEI level horses (FBW Dave, Anne Beth, Tatler, Stand By Me), Müller also focuses on young horses. She has been competing her now 5-year old youngster Filou (by Furstenball x Sir Donnerhall I x K2) and 6-year old Finn (by Flanagan x Riccio x Furst Piccolo) successfully at A and L-level in local shows.
Muller runs her own dressage stable, Gut Wettlkam, in Otterfing, Germany, and commutes to Rheinberg to work with Werth.
