Iron Spring Farm's KWPN keur stallion Sir Sinclair (by Lord Sinclair x Flemmingh) became the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) #1 Sire of Dressage Horses for the third consecutive year (2015-2017).
Sir Sinclair's offspring earned 8,669 points in dressage competitions throughout the year, more than 4,000 points ahead of the second place stallion, the Dutch warmbood stallion UB40, who is also owned by Iron Spring.
Sir Sinclair's historic achievement was made possible by 76 sons and daughters earning points, including 20 offspring competing at FEI. Rounding out the incredible year for the Iron Spring stallions, Contango, Preferent, finished fourth among nearly 900 ranked dressage sires in 2017.
The bay stallion's most successful offspring contributing to the number one place on the USEF Dressage Sire Ranking are Grand Prix horses Dee Clair (Anna Marek), Air Marshall (James Koford), Zania (Jami Kment) and Zuperman (Kathleen Raine), alongside Caymus (Jodie Kelly), Eschaton (Casey Blum), Honor (Ashley Duran), Haiku (Anna Marek) and others.
