Danish Nathalie Thomassen and Germans Jana Lang and Sophie Duen showed power in the pony division at the 2019 CDI Sint-Truiden in Belgium on 19 - 22 April 2019.

With a field of 34 competitors in total, the pony classes were action packed. Riders from Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Great Britain, France, Sweden, Ireland and Italy gathered for four days of competition in the best conditions: good footing and sunny 25 c° temperatures throughout the show weekend.

The pony tour kicked off with the team championship test which was won by debutant Nathalie Thomassen. The 14-year old competed at her very first international show in her budding career and immediately captured a first place on her wonderful 10-year old Danish bred Lykkehoejs Dream of Dornik. Sired by the former Danish team pony stallion Melli's Dornik out of a Cupkeshof Winobert, Dream of Dornik is quite a tall pony brimming with talent and potential. This one-to-watch scored a winning 73.095% in the team test. The pair went on to place second in the individual test (71.757%) and in the freestyle (74.042%).

Jana Lang on Nur Fur Dich
Two years ago German Jana Lang rode her first international show on the now 12-year old Westfalian bred Nur Fur Dich (by Nagano x Via Mala) in Sint-Truiden and she has been a return competitor at this Belgian international. Each year the rankings improved and this year she and Nur Fur Dich, who is originally named Napoleon, were second in the team test with 72.810%, they won the individual test (72.297%) but dropped to eight place in the kur (70.808%).

German Sophie Luisa Duen was also a debutant in Sint-Truiden with her first international start ever aboard Danica Duen's 10-year old Westfalian bred Del Estero (by Dance Star x Marsvogel). The 13-year old proved her mettle and worked her way up the board. They were seventh in the team test (70.476%), placed fourth in the individual test (70.495%) and won the kur to music on Easter Monday with 74.142%.
