The 2018 Bundeschampionate silver medal winning Schöne Scarlett has moved on from Leslie Rohrbacher to a new rider. Inka Rossek has been working with the 7-year old mare.
Schöne Scarlett is a 2013 born Hanoverian mare by Scolari x Londonderry x Metternich. She is bred and owned by Heidi Bouws.
The mare is already at her fourth rider in her young career.
She was first trained and competed by Johannes Geibel and made her competition debut in July 2016, before moving into training with Philip Hess. Geibel showed her through the spring of 2017 after which Hess started campaigning her in the summer of 2017.
In 2018 she moved to Leslie Rohrbacher's stable. The new duo was successful on the 2018 Bundeschampionate show circuit, winning the qualifier in Uder. At the Finals in Warendorf, they won the preliminary round for 5-year olds and in the Finals they earned silver.
In 2019 she only did two shows: the Bundeschampionate qualifier in Uder and the Bundeschampionate, where she was ranked 4th in the preliminary test. In the finals she dropped to a 12th place.
The owner has now sought training from German amateur rider Inka Rossek, who is based in Bovenden near Göttingen. Rossek, who achieved the Riders' Badge in Gold, competed at the 2019 German Amateur championship in Riesenbeck. Her three show horses in 2019 were Hija de la Luna R, Fionn McLaren W and Fedon S.
Bouws and Schöne Scarlett have been working with Rossek the past month.
