2020 European Kur Gold Junior Champion Valentina Pistner and Flamboyant did the double at the 2020 CDI Hagen on 25 - 27 September 2020.
Dominating the junior classes on the first two days of competition, Pistner and her 12-year old Oldenburg gelding QC Flamboyant (by Fideranz x De Niro) won the junior team championship test with 74.949% and the individual test with 76.814%.
Trained by Stefanie Kerner, Pistner won team gold, individual test silver and Kur gold at the 2020 European Junior Riders Championships in Pilisjaszfalu, Hungary, little over a month ago. They made the surprise decision to skip 2020 German Junior Riders Championships two weeks ago, while her German team mates were all there, opting to ride at the smaller CDI Hagen at Hof Kasselmann instead.
The junior division featured a field of 16 junior riders from Germany, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, France and Sweden.
The runner up in both junior tests was the new Danish duo, Laura Gotteberg Brandt Jakobsen on the 15-year old Danish bred Romio Hojris (by Romanov x Don Schufro). Previously competed on the Danish junior-young rider team by Celine Rorbak Silfen, Romio Hojris is now a schoolmaster for Jakobsen and the pair has hit it off. They were second in the team test with 72.424% and second in the Individual with 73.775%.
German Philippa Hodes and the 9-year old Oldenburg gelding Barolo M (by Bordeaux x Rohdiamant) collected a third place ribbon twice so far this weekend. In the team test she posted 70.808% and in the individual she got 71.961%.
