German professional dressage rider Marcus Hermes has found a new home at Haus Giesking in Appelhulsen, just 10 km down the road from his previous base, Freiberger Hof in Nottuln.

Hermes will set up his independent business in sales and training of dressage horses at Haus Giesking, a mote with equestrian yard owned by the Tecklenborg family.

The property was the previous base of Patrik Kittel and Lyndal Oatley. When they bought Eulenhof in Dulmen, stalls were rented to Indian Shruti Vora.

As of June 2020 Valerie von Hohenzollern-Brenske has been renting the property and moved in the horses together with daughter Carlin and new partner Markus Becker. Von Hohenzollern was previously married to international Grand Prix rider Peter Brenske (Daquino, Delmar), who owns Juliane Brunkhorst's Grand Prix horse Devanto (by De Chirico).

Hermes will start his business at Haus Giesking as of 1 January 2021.
