Rheinglanz, the freshly licensed champion of the 2020 Trakehner Stallion Licensing, has moved to Helgstrand's German stallion station in Syke, Germany, to cater to a breeders' audience larger than the niche Trakehner circle.

Rheinglanz is by Helium x Couracius and is bred by Werner Heitfeld at Bönninghardt stud.

He was purchased by Jill Mieleszko-Vekens two years ago at the foal auction of the Trakehner Bundesturnier at Hanover for 14,500 euro, her first ever Trakehner foal. She presented him at the Licensing in Neumunster, where he was named champion and sold in the hybrid auction for 305,000 euro to a syndicate.

Rheinglanz will stand at stud through the Schockemohle/Helgstrand partnership, but will be physically based at Helgstrand's Gestut Famos

The horse's management is in the hands of Michael Schmidt and Eva Möller will be in charge of his training.
