The 8-year old Bournonville has joined Tinne Vilhelmson at Lovsta Stuteri in Sweden as a new Grand Prix hopeful.

Bournonville is a 2013 born Danish warmblood by Bon Bravour out of Lilja (by Loudini x Willemoes x Cannon Row xx).

He is bred by Lillian and Carl Erik Jensen at Stutteri Sydagergaard.

As a 4-year old, Bournonville sold to Danish Grand Prix rider Lone Bang Larsen, but the ride was given to Lotte Wiuff Straarup.

She steered Bournonville to a fourth place in the 2018 Danish Warmblood 5-year old Championship in Herning, followed by a 7th place at the 2018 Danish Young Horse Championships in Randbol. In 2019 the pair was 6th in the 6-year old finals at the Danish Young Horse Championships and third in the national 6-year old class at the Falsterbo Horse Show. In the 2020 corona year, Bournonville did three national shows in Denmark at M-level.

Caroline, Tinne and Bournonville
Bournonville has now been sold to Antonia Ax:son Johnson, owner of Lovsta Stutteri in Sweden and home to Swedish Olympian Tinne Vilhelmson. Vilhelmson is assisted by Caroline Darcourt in the daily training of the horses.

"It’s a huge honor every time we sell a horse. But to sell such an amazing horse, as this one to world class riders - that is something special," said Bang Larsen. "I’m so excited to follow him with Tinne and Caroline in the future."
