Rafael Segui Sintes' internationally competed Grand Prix horse Dubai King has become a professor for Spanish junior rider Fatima Garcia Gullon Dominiguez.

Dubai King is a 16-year old Hanoverian gelding by Don Picardi out of Belli Jo (by Beltain x Eiger x Rondo). He is bred by Sandra-Margaux Brauleke in Germany.

Dante 69

The chestnut began his sport career in Germany as a 3-year old in 2008, ridden by his breeder. His name was Dante 69 at the time.

He scored 7.42 and placed 8th in a riding horse test in Norten-Hardenberg, his only recorded start in Germany.

Dubai King

In 2009 Dante sold as a 4-year old to Rafael Segui Sintes, who renamed him Dubai King.

They made their national debut in the 4-year old classes at the CDN Palme de Mallorca in July 2009.

The pair made its international debut at small tour level at the 2014 CDI Barcelona. The duo competed in nine CDI's in their career together, all in Spain.

They moved up to Grand Prix level in 2015 and campaigned in the big tour until March 2019 to modest results. Only in 2018 did Segui Sintes not show internationally and made a national come back after a long break in September 2018.

Their last show together was the CDN Madrid in October 2019.

Junior Ride for Fatima

Fatima Garcia has now acquired Dubai King as her new youth rider's horse.

"I am super excited about the arrival of Dubai King, it is like a dream come true and I have great faith and enthusiasm in this new project for my sport career," Garcia told Lilyforado.com. "I think he will be the perfect replacement to go into my last year as a junior and continue training with him towards young riders and U25."

Fatima made her international show debut in the Children division in 2017 aboard the then 21-year old German pony Dolittle (by Dressman x Durello x Niklas). She competed at the CDi's in Medina Sidonia, Segovia and Pompadour that year.  She was fifth at the 2017 Spanish Children Championships and 11th at the 2019 Spanish Junior Riders Championships.

Trained by Antonio Verdejo, Garcia has been competing the 2007 born Show Time (by Sir Oldenburg) at national junior level in 2019 and Renata in 2020.
