The Dutch, Portuguese and Belgian teams for the 2021 FEI Nations Cup leg at the CDIO Compiègne in France on 26 - 30 May 2021 have been announced.
Only four legs have survived on the corona affected FEI calendar of 2021. The series kicked off in Wellington, Florida, in March. Compiègne will be the second leg, followed by Rotterdam at the beginning of July and Aachen mid September.
Holland is saving its Olympic strength and none of the A-team riders are competing in Compiegne. Instead they are sending a team of young horses and one routinier. The Dutch team includes:
- Denise Nekeman - Boston STH
- Nars Gottmer - Figaro
- Patrick van der Meer - Chinook
Portugal is going full force with three of its strongest Portugal based Olympic team candidates:
- Daniel Pinto - Santurion de Massa
- João Torrão - Equador MVL
- Rodrigo Torres - Fogoso
The Belgian team will include:
- Larissa Pauluis - Flambeau
- Alexa Fairchild - Dabanos d'O4
- Domien Michiels - Intermezzo van het Meerdaalhof
