German European Championship medal winning Young Rider Luca Sophia Collin has decided in agreement with her trainers to continue her future career at Hof Kasselmann.

Collin is trained by Jochen Bender and Isabell Werth and over the past two years she has achieved a meteoric rise in the dressage ranks. Collectively they decided that following the FEI European Dressage Championships 2021 Luca will be based in Hagen.

Luca has progressed in just five years from beginner to advanced level, and is now regarded as one of the best U21 riders in Europe.

Riding her top horse Descolari she won the German Young Riders' Championship in 2020 and the Preis der Besten in 2021. The pair also proved their good form multiple times at Hagen, for example winning the CDI-YR Freestyle at Future Champions 2021. Most recently Collin and Descolari won team silver and individual bronze at the 2021 European Young Rider Championship in Oliva Nova, Spain.

"Collin wants to focus on competing in the U25 Tour in the future and where better than together with the riders at Hof Kasselmann to train for her goal," Hof Kasselmann stated.

Francois Kasselmann is enthusiastic about the friendly and familiar partnership with all parties involved. “We are looking forward to working with this highly motivated and ambitious young rider and support her during her transition to the Under 25 level," said Francois.
