Danish professional dressage rider Anne Marie Hosbond has been hired as the head rider at Stutteri Evo as of 1 October 2021.
Hosbond used to run her own business Hosdam Dressage at Stald Fredenshøj with her ex-partner Kenneth Damgaard. They are going their separate ways.
The 29-year old Anne-Marie has been a professional dressage rider at Viborg Riding Club with trainer Niels Henrik Christensen, where she met Damgaard. They both worked for Helgstrand Dressage before beginning on their own. In 2018 and 2019 the couple spent the winter season working for Helgstrand in Florida, USA.
Anne Marie made her international show debut at small tour level at the 2017 CDI Uggerhalene aboard Diva Unik (by Don Schufro x Primus X) and competed her at two more Danish CDI's in 2017 and 2018. She also rode Straight Horse Don Tamino (by Totilas x Don Schufro) to an 11th place in the 6-year old finals at the 2017 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo.
At Jane Serup Jensen's Stutteri Evo Anne Marie will be in charge of the young horse training.
Evo is based in Vejen, Denmark, and is a small brood farm with 2 to 4 foals a year. They also invest in sales horses at Helgstrand Dressage and were/are involved in horses such as Grand Prix mare Fiontini, breeding stallion Iron, and sales horses Devonport, Fiesta Danza, Espe, Kardienon, and Vendome. Evo is also one of Helgstrand's bigger buyers at the Nordic International Sales foal auctions he hosts and which EVO sponsors (Francetti, Fellini).
