Furstepoppel, a 5-year old that represented Swedish Warmblood at the 2021 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, has been sold to Norway.

Furstepoppel is by Total Hope and out of Flora Isadora (by Sohn der Sonne x  Topaasch x Don Primero).

The liver chestnut was discovered and bought as a foal by Åsa Antelli Andersson and Helena Widell. He is bred by Anita and Per-Erik Månsson at Stall Frännelid.

Trained and competed by Emma Ahlberg, he first made his mark in Denmark as a 4-year old, when he qualified himself for the 2020 Danish Young Horse Championship, which were in the end cancelled due to the corona pandemic.

This year he represented Sweden at the 2021 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany, where he placed 15th in the consolation finals. The pair also went on to compete in the semi-finals at the 2021 Danish Young Horse Championships.

Furstepoppel was advertised for sale on Eurodressage and found a new owner in Norwegian Grand Prix rider Therese Bragstad. In the 2000s she competed the Norwegian bred coldblood trotter crossbred Famous Surprice at Grand Prix level. In 2012 she rode Come Along (by Come Back II x Fanal) in the international small tour at the CDI Vestfold.
