Former French Grand Prix team rider Karen Tebar has acquired a new rising FEI hope, Dahlia de Massa.

Dahlia de Massa is an 8-year old Portuguese sport horse bred mare by Apache out of Tulipe de Massa (by Rieto). She is bred by Sylvain Massa in France.

The bay mare was first started by Vincent Serrano as a 4-year old and the ride was taken over by Arnaud Serre when she was 6. In 2020 his step daughter Mathilde Juglaret has been developing and competing the horse at young riders' level. She has only been shown at national events. Juglaret was supposed to make her international Young Riders' debut on Dahlia at the 2021 CDIO Compiegne, but they had to withdraw due to an EHV-1 scare

Dahlia de Massa has been sold to German based French rider Karen Tebar, who competed Don Luis at the 2015 European Championships (10th in the Kur) and at the 2016 Rio Olympics (25th in the Special). She was the 2015 French Champion. Before that, the mare Falada M took Tebar to her first major successes. They competed at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen, and the 2005 European Dressage Championships. The were the 2006 French Dressage Champions.

Tebar has been absent from the national and international dressage arena for four years. She combines her dressage riding with a professional career in her parents' company, Stihl.
