Salvana's Helena, the 3-year old that was proclaimed Trakehner Elite Mare Champion in Neumunster in October, has been sold to to Julia and Volker Röwe.

The owners of the 2020 Trakehner Licensing champion Rheinglanz have now added Helena to their collection.

Salvana's Helena is by Helium out of Hedwig (by Kaiserdom x Fahnentrager II). She is bred by ZG Rüdel and the full sister of Helene who was the 2020 Trakehner Elite Mare Champion.

According to Zuchterforum, Andreas Helgstrand's German scout Udo Wagner negotiated the sale of Salvana's Helena to the Röwe couple.

Instead of this elite mare disappearing from the limelight for a career in breeding, she will be focused on sport. Helena was trained so far by Vanessa Siedentopf at Babett and Helmar Bescht's yard. She finished seventh in the qualifier round for 3-year old mares and geldings at the 2021 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf.

It is unclear yet if she will continue to produce the mare or if she will move to Gestut Famos and Eva Möller's training programme like Rheinglanz.
