Eight newly licensed young colts passed the mandatory 10-day observation test for them to be allowed to breed for one year for the Danish warmblood society. Four of them are dressage bred.
Colts that were recently approved at the 2022 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Herning have to do a mandatory 10-day observation test in Denmark or 2-day suitability test in Germany to be allowed to stand at stud this season.
As the majority of the newly licensed stallions are owned by Helgstrang and partners, most of them have been entered for the shorter German testing. A few stayed in Denmark.
The 10-day observation test took place in Torring. The four dressage bred colts that passed are:
- Svalegårds Hot Driver (by Hesselhøj Donkey Boy x Blue Hors Hotline) - bred and owned by Stutteri Svalegård
- Åtoftens Jovani (by Jovian x Benetton Dream) - bred by Stutteri Åtoften and owned by the breeder and Helgstrand Dressage
- Blue Hors Storm (by Sezuan x Tailormade Temptation) - bred by Bjarne Skovdal and owned by Blue Hors
- Åtoftens Springtime (by Springbank II x Zalando) - bred by Stutteri Åtoften and owned by the breeder and Helgstrand Dressage
Both Jovani and Springtime are WFFS carriers.
