After having named a short list, the Australian Equestrian Federation has now decided on its team for the 2022 World Championships Dressage in Herning (DEN) on 6 - 11 August 2022.

Waiting for the results that short listed rider Jayden Brown would produce at the 2022 CDI Hartpury, the national selectors decided for Brown as fourth team rider after he scored 69.008%.

The selectors had set a 69.087% as the minimum scoring requirement for Australian team candidates. Brown had already achieved these results on home turf, but Hartpury was his first Euro score since moving back. to the U.K.

The Australian Team includes

  • Jayden Brown riding Sky Diamond, owned by Terrence and Ginette Snow and groomed by Lillie Conelly
  • Lyndal Oatley riding Elvive, owned by Andrew and Carol Oatley and groomed by Johanna Ward
  • Mary Hanna riding Calanta, owned by Rob and Mary Hanna and groomed by Victoria Weir
  • Simone Pearce riding Fiderdance, owned by Gestüt Bonhomme and groomed by Emily Reudavey

"In the event that a team combination is no longer available then under the substitution clauses referred to in the selection policy, a reserve combination maybe considered from the list of nominated entries," the EA communicated.

The two potential reserves are Warwick McLean (Hendrix) and Kristy Oatley (Rosenlorbeer).
