Russian young rider Anna Guseynova has declared for Israel and the 20-year old will be competing for this country.

Anna Guseynova made her international show debut as a 12-year old in the Children division at the CDI Moscow in June 2014. She competed Friesian Abe fan it Hiem.
In 2015 she competed Abe as well as Rubin's Rockstar in the Children classes at CDI' in Oliva, Saumur and Hagen and at the inaugural European Under 25 Championships in Vidauban she was 10th with Abe.
In 2016 Anna took up training with Adelinde Cornelissen in the Netherlands and made her junior debut on Lauda (by Laudabilis). For the 2016 European Championships in Oliva, she dropped him down to Children level and won triple gold.
Lauda and Delano (by Jazz x Caretino) continued to be her equine partners in the next few years, but the former was her top ride at the 2017 European Junior Riders Championships in Roosedaal (26th place), in 2018 in Fontainebleau (8th in the Kur) and in 2019 at Young Riders level in San Giovanni in Marignano (9th in the kur), In 2020 in Budapest she was 18th in the freestyle final.
Ride for Israel
Anna last competed in September 2021, riding Delano in the young riders' division at the CDIO Aachen. She also presented her young horse Just Mickey (by Lord Leatherdale x Negro) in Le Mans.
Guseynova, now listed under last name Guseynov in the FEI database, declared for Israel on 17 March 2022, three weeks after the FEI's ban of Russian athletes due to the War in Ukraine.
"My connection with Israel is (through) my family roots, which come from Israel," Anna told Eurodressage. "I'm very grateful for all the support Equestrian Federation of Israel has given me for this very smooth transition!"
Guseynova, who is originally from Moscow but also lives in The Netherlands, is part of the CHIO Aachen Campus team of 2022.
"I live and train full time in the Netherlands," she said. "At the moment i have my horses at two different places: at EMF center owned by a my dear friend and veterinarian Veronique Swagemakers and the second place is in Dreumel, where I am with my long-time friend and trainer Phillip van Ommen."
