Italy
The Italian equestrian federation has announced the team that will represent Italy at the 2022 World Para Dressage Championships in Herning on 6 - 14 August 2022.
Italty will be fielding a team of four combinations and has also appointed a reserve pair.
The Italian para dressage selectors are Barbara Ardu, Alessandro Benedetti, Francesco Girardi
Benedetti serves as team captain, while Fabrizio Monici is the team vet. The para riders are supported by equine physiotherapist Antonio Inghilleri and human physiotherapist Mario Ferrante.
The team for Herning includes:
- Sara Morganti on Royal Delight (reserve horse Mariebelle);
- Francesca Salvadè on Oliver Vitz
- Carola Semperboni on Paul (reserve horse Lucky One)
- Federica Sileoni on Burberry (reserve horse Don Perignon).
The reserve is Maurizio Ungalli with Funny Face.
