De Niro is one of the greatest producers of international Grand Prix horses and 2022 PSI Auction horse Dessauer carries on his legacy.
Dessauer (by De Niro x Rousseau) is one of 25 horses in this year's Performance Sales International that ticks all the boxes for the demanding dressage rider

The 6-year-old Hanoverian gelding Dessauer is a descendent of the Donnerhall son De Niro, who is known worldwide as THE Grand Prix horse sire. On the dam's side is the World Reserve Young Horse Champion Rousseau.
Dessauer showcases great movement and an active, powerful hind leg. His swinging back provides his rider with an excellent feeling in the saddle. As he progresses in training, he will also be able to master the highest degree of collection in the canter. He is already schooling the first beginnings of tempi changes and performs a reliable, flying change at the finest aids of his rider.
"It will be easy to build on his education in the next season," said Francois Kasselmann. "This horse opens all doors, whether in youth, amateur or professional sport."

The 2022 PSI auction will follow the same format as in 2021. The auction on 10 December 2022 will start at 5 pm at the P.S.I. Auction Centre in Ankum. The first live presentation of the dressage horses will take place in Ankum from 6.00pm on 3 December 2022.
Of course all horses can be viewed and test ridden before that at their home, Hof Kasselmann in Hagen.
