The FEI has appointed the ground jury for the 2023 World Championships for young dressage horses which will take place in Ermelo, The Netherlands on 3 - 6 August 2023.
Officially this event is titled "FEI/WBFSH World Breeding Championships" but with it's confusing format whether it represents purely breeds, the nation of the rider, or mixture of those two had lead to the general public calling the event the World Young Horse Championships (WCYH).
Championships are held in three age categories: 5, 6 and 7-year olds.
The ground jury includes:
- Susanne Baarup (DEN) - President 5-yr olds
- Adriaan Hamoen (NED) President 6-yr olds
- Henning Lehrmann (GER) - President 7-yr olds
- Ulrike Nivelle (GER) - Commentating Judge
- Maria Colliander (FIN) - Commentating Judge
- Monique Peutz (NED) - Commentating Judge
- Annette Fransen Iacobaeus (SWE)
- Juan Carlos Campos (ESP)
- Peter Storr (GBR)
- Jean-michel Roudier (FRA)
- Janet Foy (USA)
- Sharon Rhode (RSA)
- Hans Voser (SUI)
The Foreign Technical Delegate is Mariette Withages (BEL) and the Chief Steward is Jacques van Daele (BEL).
