Belgian dressage riders Jette de Jong and under 25 rider Lauranne Lammens have been submitted to the A-squad of the Flanders (VLP) Talent Team for 2023.
The Talent Team includes Flemish based dressage, show jumping and eventing riders under the age of 25.
For 2023 the Horse Sport Flanders (former VLP) selected 68 riders and divided them into an A, B, High Potential and Future squad. They were announced during the 2022 CDI-W Mechelen competition.
Talent Team selected riders get financial support for their training and education.
In the B-team there are dressage riders Chloe Cleymans, Liezel Everars, Amber Hennes, Angelina Hermans, Anna Peeters, while Suraya Hendrikx, Laura Luyten, and Amber van den Steen are marked as high potentials. Emilie Herweyers and Lauren Blommaert are part of the future squad.
