Polish team rider Anna Mierzwinska has sold her World Championship ride Dean Martin to Germany. The horse will continue its sport career under German Natalie Stickling-Morzynski.

Show Jumping Bred

Dean Martin is a 12-year old Westfalian gelding by Diarado out of Pia (by Polydor). He is bred by August Poppe in Germany.

His full brother Delcento is an international Grand Prix show jumper under Andreas Knippling. Half brother Akolito (by Acodetto) has jumped at international GP level with Canadian Qamantha Starratt.

Owned by Jacek Kuzma and Anna Mierzwinska (née Lukasik), Dean Martin made his international show debut in the 7-year old dressage horse classes at the 2018 CDI Achleiten in Austria. By the autumn of 2018 he competed in the small tour in Zakrzow, followed by the 2019 CDI's in Hagen and Cappeln.

A two year break for international showing followed and in October 2021 the pair landed at international Grand Prix level with their debut CDI being Zakrzow. In 2022 they campaigned in Herning, Zakrzow, Achleiten, Brno, and Fritzens before representing Poland at the 2022 World Championships Dressage in Hernning, where they were 84th with 63.323%.

The pair finished the year with two third places at the CDI Bialy Las and a score  of 67.671 in the Grand Prix and picked up the bronze medal at the 2022 Polish Grand Prix Championships held at the same time.

The Grand Prix horse has now been sold to Natalie Stickling-Morzynski.

The mother of six last competed internationally in 2009 aboard Pandoer (by Recruut x Amulet). Nationally she has been competing Esteban M (by Sandro Hit x Jazz) and Damocles de Massa (by Bon Bravour x Almonda) at Grand Prix level and Sacre Fleur (by Scolari x Ducello) at small tour level this year.
