The Swedish warmblood stallion Rosebank VH is the most popular breeding stallion with dressage breeders in Sweden in 2022. Only three show jumping stallions have bred more than him this year.

The Swedish warmblood society has a very transparent policy when it comes to its annual breeding statistics. It discloses how many mares were bred and how many were proven in foal. (It must be mentioned that not all scans of the covered mares were submitted into the database, so the in foal statistic and success rate statistic are inaccurate.)

Gransbo Stuteri's SWB stallion Rosebank VH (by Revolution x Dalwhinnie) was bred to 110 mares and 86 mares were scanned in foal at the end of the breeding season, a success rate of 78,89%. Rosebank is out of Dakarta VH, the dam that produced Swedish 2014 WEG team horse Darcia.

The second most popular dressage stallion is the Dutch wamrblood stallion King Olymbrio L (by Geniaal x Ferro), also owned by Gransbo stuteri. He was bred to 82 mares and 74 of them are in foal; this is a success rate of 92,50%.

Two stallions tied in third place as the third most used stallions in Sweden. They are Lovsta Stuteri's Hanoverian bred Serious (by Secret x Furst Romancier) and Verbena's Swedish warmblood Zafferano (by Zaladin MI x Bernstein). The 2022 Swedish performance test winner Serious covered 81 mares of which 63 were scanned in foal (79.74%). Zafferano also covered 81 mares and 63 were in foal (77.77%).

The highest placed non-Swedish based stallion is Helgstrand's recently deceased Iron in sixth place, and Blue Hors Stud's St. Schufro in 10th place.
