Marcus Hermes' small tour ride De Massimo has been sold to a German junior rider. The stallion will continue its sport career with German junior rider Stella Hagedorn.
De Massimo is a 10-year old Westfalian stallion by Dankeschön out of Sweete Wiens (by Show Star x Carolus I). He is bred by Christiane Wiens.
Sabina Schrödter
The grey was first presented at the pre-selection for the 2015 Westfalian stallion licensing in Munster-Handorf but not accepted.
He then sold in the 2016 Westfalian Handorf Extra auction, where Sabina Schrödter acquired him as a youngster.
Schrödter first competed the grey at a local show in Boblingen as a 5-year old in 2018 and rode the Bundeschampionate qualifiers with him. She competed him lightly until February 2020
Marlene Sieverding
De Massimo was sent to Helgstrand Dressage to be sold in the summer of 2020 and German Marlene Sieverding acquired him.
Sieverding made her debut on the stallion at S-level at the CDN Ankum in October 2020 and competed him at small tour level at local shows through January 2021.
Marcus Hermes
The stallion was then sent into training with Marcus Hermes, who competed him on the 2021 Nurnberger Burgpokal show circuit and came very close to a finals spot with a score of 74.463% achieved at the qualifier in Görlitz.
At the time the information on the score pages was not yet updated as Schrödter was still listed as the owner when Hermes rode him.
Marcus competed De Massimo successfully with numerous top placings in 2022 and this time qualified for the Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals in Frankfurt. They were unfortunately eliminated in the warm-up round, but in the finals round placed 8th with 71.048%.
Stella Hagedorn
De Massimo has now been sold to German junior rider Stella Hagedorn, who made her show debut on the horse at yesterday's CDN Munster. They won the M-level test with 8.3 points.
Stella Hagedorn started her international show career in 2021 as a show jumper, competing in CSI 1* and Amateur classes with the horse Chagrando (by Chalan x Conterno Grande).
The 15-year old Hagedorn is from Bielefeld and has also been competing at national level in dressage. This year she has focused on her pony Docelli (by Dance Star x Deinhard B) and horse Viva la Vida R (by Van Vivaldi x Donnerhall) riding them both at L-level.
