A German classic on the equestrian sports calendar should not be missing this year: The Redefin Horse Festival will take place 5 - 7 May 2023 at the historic Redefin State Stud.
International dressage and show jumping riders will meet there for the three-star level competition.
Multiple Flags
Redefin will be an early start in the season where riders can get qualification scores for the 2023 European Championships in dressage and show jumping and 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The response to the first international edtion of the tournament in 2022 was impressive and promising for the future," said show director François Kasselmann. "Athletes from 24 different nations are expected to compete here again."
Grand Setting
While the show jumping competitions take place on the grass arena in front of the impressive portal of the State Stud, the dressage riders are again in the spacious parade stadium. Dressage fans can enjoy a great view of the warm-up arena and the test arena.
At national level, Redefin also offers qualifications for the Bundeschampionate for five- and six-year-old dressage horses.
The world ranking list tests, youngster tour and international small tour offer the best opportunities for show jumpers to bring different horses to the start.
Free Entry, Tickets for Show Jumping
Entry to the Redefin horse festival is free, except for the grandstand at the show jumping arena where tickets are required, which can be purchased on site.
"The enthusiasm of the equestrian sports fans from near and far and the historic backdrop of the Mecklenburg State Stud give this international event a unique atmosphere. Redefin should be on your to-do list for May," Kasselmann smiled.
