Following the mare performance testings in Germany and Denmark, the Oldenburg breed society announced the names of the mares qualified to compete in the 2023 Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Rastede on 20 July 2023.

Testing took place at venues such as Vechta, Bad Bramstedt, Hillerod (DEN) and Randbol (DEN).
