The Spanish equestrian federation (RFHE) has announced the long-listed combinations in the running for team selection for the 2023 European Dressage Championships in Riesenbeck on 4 - 10 September 2023.
Eight combinations have been nominated, two of them did not ride the first team selection trial at the Spanish Championships (Sanchez del Barco and Jurado) but they clinched their nominations with starts in Deauville and Falsterbo. Biggest absentee from the list is Spanish Olympic team horse Divina Royal under Jose Mena. The pair competed at the Spanish Championships but then missed the second trial in Aachen.
The long-listed combinations are

- Martín Dockx, Daniel - Malagueño Lxxxiii
- Sanchez Del Barco, Alejandro - Quincallo De Indalo
