Former Olympic champion Charlotte Dujardin today shared a video of her riding her young horse, Secret Agent. She showcased the horse for the first time in public under saddle.
Secret Agent is a 4-year old Hanoverian by Secret out of De Niro x Stedinger dam. He is bred by Nicole and Frederik Siefer.
Sambesi
Originally named Sambesi, the black colt was part of the auction collection of the first online auction which the Hanoverian verband organized in August 2019. The foal apparently sold for 7,000 euro, but two years later horse dealers Kerstin Klieber and Stefan Sandbrink bought Sambesi as a 2-year old directly from the breeder.
Klieber didn't keep him long. The stallion was presented at the 2021 Westfalian stallion licensing pre-selection by handlers Dana and Pascal Kandziora. A sale was quickly made between Klieber and Belshaw/Dujardin.
The horse did not get licensed as he wasn't presented.
Secret Agent
They renamed the horse Secret Agent as they bought him when the latest James Bond movie "No Time to Die" came out.
Times - Belshaw
Today, Dujardin shared the first under saddle footage of her on the horse. "He is honestly the sweetest soul and his talent astounds me," said Charlotte.
Special Agent's co-owner and Dujardin's biggest horse sponsor at the moment is the Wigan based Peter Belshaw, who is the ceo of the company Times Engineering. It specialises in sub-contract engineering for the mining and hydraulics industries. He is also a dressage horse breeder and owner.
Belshaw's Nemesis (by Totilas x Negro), Oddjob (by Vitalis x Damon Hill), Orwell (by Toto Jr x Negro), and Nika (by ?) are currently with Hester's former stable jockey Sadie Smith.
