The dark bay Estupendo was trained and competed from young horse to FEI level by Wernsen.
They made their international show debut in 2015 in the 5-year old classes in Barcelona, followed by the CDI Perl, winning two out of five classes. In 2015 they returned to Barcelona for the CDI 6-year old division and won three times out of four.
Two years later the pair made its Prix St Georges debut at the CDI Ermelo. Almost a year later they returned to the international stage in Ranshofen, Austria, followed by the CDI Deauville.
Australia
Estupendo has now been sold to Australian Vivien Lipshut and the ride on the horse has been allocated to David McKinnon.
At the start of May the pair made its debut at a national show in Sydney. At the beginning of August they won the Intermediaire A and B at at Willinga Park in Bawley Point. McKinnon trains online with Lyndal Oatley and Patrik Kittel.
Lipschut is also the owner of the 17-year old Hanoverian Royalito (by Royal Blend x Worldly) who has been competed at international Grand Prix level with Dirk Dijkstra. In December 2022 Royalto was retired from Grand Prix level competition after a staggering 170 competitions, both in Germany and Australia. Still fresh and fruity, Royalito has moved on as a young rider schoolmaster for Paige Drake.
