Polish born Italian dressage rider and horse dealer Anna Paprocka-Campanella has reverted back to her Polish nationality and will compete for the Polish flag as of now.

Paprocka-Campanella's career making Grand Prix horse was Andretti H (by Aarking xx x Cavalier) with whom she represented Italy at the 2006 World Equestrian Games (48th in the Grand Prix) and 2007 European Championships in Turin (14th in the Kur) after which she sold him to Laura Bechtolsheimer.

Her next horse Prego (by Zazou x Ulft) took her to the 2009 European Championships in Windsor, where she was 42nd in the Grand Prix. She sold this horse to then Estonian Joanne Vaughan (now riding for Georgia).

Between 2011 and 2016 Anna further competed Westwind, Finest, Rugby, Daiquiri, Nirvana XV, and Loreley at international GP level. Her last international start was in October 2016 in Le Mans.

Anna served one term as FEI Riders' representive on the FEI Dressage Committee

Poland - Chrevi's Ravello

Poland secured an Olympic team ticket at the Group C qualifier in Pilisjaszfalu in June and it opened doors for Polish riders to fulfil a life-long dream.  This feat prompted the Dutch based Campanella to declare again for Poland.

For her Olympic campaign, Campanella has secured Chrevi's Ravello at Helgstrand Dressage in Denmark. He is a 14-year old Danish warmblood by Skovens Rafael x Chrevi's Cavallo. The liver chestnut made his international show debut at small tour level under then owner Diana Porsche at the2019 CDI Wiener Neustadt. In 2021 Porsche rode him in the Under 25 tests but then sent him to Denmark and sold him to Helgstrand.

The horse has been for sale since. He was briefly relocated to sales partner Leida Collins-Strijk in Spain and she competed him in one CDI in Jerez de la Frontera in March 2023.

"I forgot how tough top sport," Campanella took to Facebook after taking over the reins of Ravello, "but we will get there! The Polish team is qualified for the Olympics."
