Grappa has now been secured by the 19-year old Yuddy Cheng.

Cheng made her international show debut in 2022 with her trainer Joao Pedro Moreira's Damasco, a 15-year old Lusitano (by Quixote x Guadiana), at the CDI Sint Truiden. From there she went to the CDI Troisdorf for mileage. This year she competed Moreira's small tour horse Grenoble (by Alexandro P x Unaniem) at the Aachen Dressage Days in Hagen.

Cheng recently moved to the U.K. where she works with former Under 25 rider Alexander Harrison.

"I am training with Alex currently as I am studying at the University of Bath," Yuddy told Eurodressage. "I was training in Germany with Joao during my high school years, but it would be better to be based locally now. I still have my 8-year old Tolkien in training with Joao."
