The Westfalian licensed stallion Bon Vivaldi NRW has been sold to a student of Sönke Rothenberger. The 7-year old will continue his sport career with Henri Schamburg.

Bon Vivaldi is by Benicio out of Livaldi (by Vivaldi x Riccione x Bolero). He is bred by Thomas Sieverding.

Licensed Stallion

Bon Vivaldi was licensed at the 2018 Westfalian stallion licensing in Munster-Handorf in November 2018. He was presented at the licensing by Blue Hors Stud and announced to be standing at station Ahlers in Germany.

Hermann Lenders became listed as the owner of the horse.

Bon Vivaldi did his 14-day suitability test in Schlieckau in May 2019 and scored 8.34 for dressage and 7.35 for show jumping, averaging 8.0. He then did his Sport Test I in Verden in March 2020 and scored 8.84. His second mandatory Sport Test, to remain licensed, was done in Munster Handorf in April 2021 and he scored 8,94 points.

Sport Career

The bay stallion was developed to FEI level by Eike Bewerungen, who competed him from the start.

The pair made its show debut in June 2019 in the riding horse tests and became reserve champion at the 2019 Westfalian young horse championships in Munster. They made it to Warendorf, where they won bronze in the 3-year old stallion class.

In 2020 the stallion was hardly competed, but in 2021 he returned to the Bundeschampionate, where he was 35th in the 5-year old consolation finals.

In 2022 the pair represented Germany at the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, and placed 7th in the 6-year old consolation class.  This year he moved up to developing PSG horse level and at the 2023 Bundeschampionate he placed 15th in the 7-year old finals.

The 7-year old stallion has now been sold as a ride for 22-year old Henri Schamburg.

Henri began his international carer as a junior rider in 2015 aboard Ronaldinho (by Rohdiamant x Warkant). In 2018 he presented Ducati K (by Damon Hill x Rosenkavalier) at the CDI-J Hagen.  In 2020 he leased Sarah Runge's Grand Prix horse Dark Dynamic as a schoolmaster but ended up showing him only once in Darmstadt in July 2020.

Henri's show career has mainly concentrated on national events. He last competed Ducati K in Kronberg in April 2022.
