The Belgian bred Senciana van het Bloemenhof became the price highlight of the 2023 Equine Elite auction held by Craig Rawlins at his Korenbloem stable in Weert, The Netherlands on 28 October 2023.
The collection included younger as well as upper level trained horses.
The 5-year old Belgian warmblood mare Senciana van het Bloemenhof (by (Danciano de Malleret x Foundation x Quaterback) was owned by Julie Raymaekers and bred by Luc Van der Heyden. She was the 2018 BWP Reserve Dressage Foal Filly Champion and first competed by Elodie de Biolley in 2021. In 2022 she was shown by Deborah Proost and sold to Raymaekers in December 2022 who put her in the Equine Elite auction. The Belgian mare got the highest price of the auction, 190,000 euro.
The second most expensive horse in the collection was the 5-year old mare Design (by Desperado x Quaterback) which fetched 175,000 euro.
The 10-year old Highlander (by Hofrat x Del Piero) sold for 170,000 euro, while the mare Indera (by Don Juan de Hus x Gribaldi) had a knockdown price of 120,000 euro.
The 5-year old mare Whispering Angel (by Furst Fabrice x Borowski) fetched 105,000 euro.
The 11-year old Fahrenheit (by Foundation x Weltmeyer) sold for 105,000 euro.
Dutch horse dealer Nikay van Duren sold two horses via this auction. Ovation (by Furst Jazz x Wynton) went for 56,000 euro and No Limit (by For Romance x Jazz) for 52,000 euro.
